Overview
IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) is an initiative that develops "integration profiles" combining existing standards like HL7, DICOM, and W3C to realize concrete clinical workflow scenarios.
Relationship with other standards
Rather than defining individual standards, it specifies "how to combine standards". New FHIR-based IHE profiles are also being continuously developed.
