Details

DataArt, a global software engineering firm with over 20 years of experience, provides an accelerator designed to help EHR vendors extend their existing solutions with SMART on FHIR capabilities and FHIR APIs. Built on Azure cloud, this accelerator is composed of several components: an FHIR API built on the open-source “FHIR Server for Azure,” an adapter model for integrating the FHIR API into existing medical record systems, a SMART on FHIR app launcher, an OAuth server based on IdentityServer4, and an ETL approach for synchronizing data into the FHIR server. DataArt has extensive experience building EHRs from scratch and ensuring compliance with regulations such as Meaningful Use criteria and the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This solution allows vendors to add FHIR-compliant functionality regardless of their current technology stack, while maintaining data security and privacy. The service combines this accelerator approach with additional custom software development services on Azure cloud.
