They are introducing the 'Lifecare Open Health Suite,' an open, modular ecosystem designed to integrate clinical and operational data. This partnership aims to give healthcare providers true freedom of choice and control over their health data by eliminating vendor lock-in and interoperability frictions. Each partner contributes specialized components: Tieto Caretech provides its modular electronic health record applications, trusted in the Nordics. x-tention brings deep service expertise, interoperability leadership, and consulting services based on two decades of experience. Better offers an openEHR-based clinical data repository and a low-code environment (Better Studio), along with an ePMA solution. By combining these strengths using international standards like FHIR and openEHR, the platform enables organizations to achieve a unified, person-centered view of care, allowing for rapid integration of new applications while maintaining complete data ownership.
