Wellgistics Health has named Brett Thompson as its consulting CTO, following the departure of Srini Kalla from the role. Thompson is the Founder and President of Pivcon and possesses extensive experience across cloud-native platforms, interoperability (including FHIR, HL7, EDI), AI, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. According to the company, Thompson will help implement a direct-to-consumer strategy centered around the “Health Lives Here” app and support the transition to DataMeds AI. His expertise includes not only interoperability standards like FHIR and HL7 but also deep knowledge of regulatory compliance such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and PIPEDA. This appointment is a significant step for the company in expanding its digital health services and strengthening data exchange (interoperability) across diverse systems.
