This standard, spearheaded by MedCom, aims to share selected patient diagnoses gathered at primary care across the entire healthcare system using the HL7 FHIR standard via a Document Sharing Service (DDS). Specifically, PLSP provides the patient diagnosis summary as an on-demand FHIR document. This data is intended to be viewed through sundhed.dk, accessible both by citizens and healthcare professionals. The development of this standard marks MedCom's first creation using the FHIR document format. It operates in close collaboration between PLO, Sundhedsdatastyrelsen (the Danish Health Data Authority), PLSP, sundhed.dk, and MedCom. The approval process culminated at a meeting of RUSA on December 12, 2024, where it was formally recognized as version 1.0. The standard has been incorporated into the Sundhedsdatastyrelsen's standard catalog, and test protocols are available on MedCom’s website.
