Li Jianzhang to Participate in 8th 'Hit AI & Blockchain': Ambitions for Taiwan's Electronic Health Record Revolution

Li Jianzhang is a specialist with extensive experience, having previously served as Director of Emergency Medicine at NTUH Yunlin Branch and Chairman of the Taiwan Pediatric Emergency Medical Association. He has a proven track record in smart healthcare, notably developing 'HoloXMed,' a technology that performs 2D CT color segmentation and 3D reconstruction for holographic projection into the metaverse, earning him an Edison Award gold prize. Since joining the Ministry of Health and Welfare Information Department, Li has focused on integrating health, long-term care, and medical databases, aiming to realize the vision of the large healthy industry through the 'Next Generation Medical Information System Plan.' He places significant emphasis on SMART on FHIR as the core technology for digital medicine. He actively promotes efforts toward standardizing this technology and building an electronic health record application ecosystem market. Furthermore, he sought cooperation from Professor Ken Mandle of Boston Children's Hospital, stating that Taiwan has seized a prime opportunity to participate in the global EHR revolution by establishing a world-class electronic health record application ecosystem outside the US.
