This service enables customers to normalize and store health data from disparate raw sources into a FHIR data store. By leveraging HealthLake's FHIR-based APIs, users can build interactive applications and interoperability workflows. Furthermore, the HealthLake Analytics module automatically transforms FHIR data into an analytics-ready format, supporting population health analytics, patient cohort building, or training predictive models to improve care quality. The data stores integrate easily with AWS AI and analytics tools such as Amazon Athena for SQL queries, Amazon QuickSight for visualization, and Amazon SageMaker for ML model training. In addition to Europe (Ireland), HealthLake is available in multiple regions including US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Europe West (London), and Asia Pacific SouthEast (Sydney).
