The establishment of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) requires Member States and the Commission to finalize technical specifications by March 2027, defining the European Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF). To align EEHRxF with global standards, Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) like HL7 are crucial.
