The deployed HealthUnity platform will automate real-time approvals, replacing outdated manual tasks like faxing and phone calls. Operating through MHDC’s network (NEHEN), it enables participants—major health plans and providers—to improve benefit checks, prior authorizations, clinical data exchange, and quality measurement via a single connection. By leveraging FHIR APIs and national data standards, the technology facilitates secure information sharing across the entire healthcare ecosystem.
