The technology successfully passed performance tests involving a total of seven medical institutions and companies at HL7 Korea's Connectathon held on July 14th. It was particularly praised for being developed to represent core information—such as surgeries/procedures, lab tests, and specimens (blood, tissue, etc.)—more accurately and consistently in the field. The Korea Health Information Service plans to fully promote the spread of FHIR-based medical data standards by linking them with various public health policy projects after the completion of KR Core V2, including EMR certification systems, health information highways, and clinical information exchange. Furthermore, the KR Core V2 support tool used in the Connectathon will be provided through the Health Information Standard Management System (HINS) next year, allowing use by domestic and international developers and medical institutions.
