Summary

QMetrics will continue its role as the official Validator for NCQA’s 10th Cohort of the Data Aggregator Validation program. This initiative aims to enhance the reliability of clinical data used for healthcare quality reporting, marking a significant milestone for the industry.

Details

QMetrics has been announced as the continuing official Validator for the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) 10th Cohort of the Data Aggregator Validation program. This strategic collaboration aims to streamline quality reporting and reduce administrative burdens by validating clinical data from aggregators and electronic health records (EHRs). The program, launched in Summer 2021, has already seen 46 organizations across 21 states complete validation, resulting in 114 validations. Cohort 10 welcomes diverse participants aiming to contribute validated data for HEDIS® reporting. QMetrics, as the only validator since the program's inception, has been instrumental in setting rigorous standards, including its Primary Source Verification (PSV) methodology. To date, QMetrics has validated 56,833 individual data sources. The continuous evolution of the program reflects the industry’s growing demand for trust and integrity in clinical data. The launch of Cohort 10 on July 21, 2025, aligns with the HEDIS® supplemental data submission timeline for Measurement Year 2025. This effort is noted as the first national attempt to validate clinical data streams shared across EHRs, aggregators, and third-party recipients like health plans, setting a new standard for healthcare data trustworthiness.
