InterSystems and Google Cloud Partner to Integrate HealthShare with AI, Strengthening Healthcare Interoperability

Announced at the HLTH conference, this partnership aims to solve key challenges in healthcare IT: 'data fragmentation' and 'standard inconsistency.' The integration combines InterSystems' expertise—in data standardization, patient identification, and interoperability—with Google Cloud’s comprehensive AI analytics tools and secure infrastructure. This allows healthcare organizations to leverage clean, unified, actionable data on an enterprise cloud platform, maximizing the potential of AI. Specifically, HealthShare's capabilities for cross-data source aggregation, standardization, deduplication, patient identification, and terminology mapping will link with Google Cloud’s FHIR-ready data foundation (such as BigQuery). This enables the use of leading generative and agentic AI models, including Gemini, for clinical decision support, administrative automation, and population health management. The solution enhances interoperability and security while maintaining high compliance standards. It is set to be available via a BYOL model, with an expected launch in the North American Google Cloud Marketplace in Q1 2026, followed by global rollout. This collaboration focuses on establishing 'trustworthy data' as the foundation for optimizing workflows and providing advanced services across the entire healthcare industry.
