iEHR has released mapping specifications for the 'Drugs Payment Scheme' (IECoreDrugsPaymentScheme) data type profile, following Ireland's Core Implementation Guide. This document is currently at a Trial-use status with Maturity Level 3. The specification provides detailed definitions on how to represent this payment scheme information across multiple standard formats, including HL7 v2, v3, and ServD. Key elements such as Identifier, use, type, system, value, period, and assigner are mapped for each version. For instance, the mapping details show specific structures: in HL7 v2, mappings utilize prefixes like CX and EI; in v3, definitions employ Role classes for more complex structuring. Such granular data-type level interoperability specifications are crucial for cross-border healthcare information system integration.
