The KV-Connect service ended on October 20, 2025, and the overall communication service is now predominantly handled through KIM. This discontinuation means that practices can no longer transmit their data at the end of the quarter using KV-Connect. Moving forward, KIM assumes almost all functions, including one-click billing, eDoctor letters, eMessages, LDT orders/reports, DiMus, and eHKS. Furthermore, appointment service codes and billing information are available via an FHIR interface. Questions regarding this matter can be addressed through the IT hotline of KV Nordrhein.
