The HHS/ONC/CMS is hosting a webinar to provide an overview of the suggested QCDR measure development and evaluation processes, specifically related to the 2026 Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). During this event, CMS will outline the process for developing and evaluating proposed QCDR measures. Furthermore, CMS and the Practice Improvement and Quality Measures Management Support (PIQMMS) team will review resources available to QCDRs working on new or updated measures. Please note that this webinar is not intended to consider additional QCDR measure submissions for the 2026 MIPS performance period. This information focuses on providing technical guidance based on CMS guidelines regarding healthcare quality improvement and payment systems.
