HealthEx Partners with Microsoft to Bring Consumers’ Personal Health History to Copilot

HealthEx announced a partnership with Microsoft to address the challenge of scattered personal health records across multiple providers and systems. Copilot Health uses AI capabilities to integrate diverse data—including medical records and wearable data—helping individuals understand their overall health picture and confidently plan next steps. The foundation is built by HealthEx, which allows users to verify identity using biometrics and government ID, granting explicit consent for access. This process securely aggregates comprehensive data such as lab results, medications, conditions, and clinical notes into a 'secure health wallet.' Users can then share these records repeatedly across multiple services in a consented manner. Furthermore, this secure setup extends beyond Copilot Health to other HealthEx-powered applications. Technically, HealthEx utilizes TEFCA individual access services spanning over 12,000 organizations and 72,000 unique connections, alongside direct FHIR-endpoint based exchange with over 52,000 healthcare organizations.
