This integration leverages the SMART on FHIR interoperability standard via VectorCare’s SoFaaS™ platform. Key benefits include real-time ride status tracking and automated documentation within the EHR, eliminating manual workflows. This capability allows discharge planners and case managers to request and track patient rides in under one minute, compared to an industry average of 31 minutes using phone or fax.
