KIS-Markt 2026: Cloud, Interoperabilität und KI verdrängen das klassische Stand-alone-KIS

Details
The KIS market is growing, yet many hospitals are hesitant regarding new tenders. Hospitals are looking beyond classic KIS solutions; they require integrated platforms capable of supporting their IT landscape long-term while addressing cloud capabilities, interoperability standards, regulatory requirements, and AI. Several developments are driving this restructuring. Many KHZG projects have largely been completed. Simultaneously, the phasing out of SAP IS-H is forcing many institutions to reorganize their system landscapes. Experts anticipate a wave of tenders as early as 2026. Furthermore, the adoption of Epic for Charité's KIS increases pressure from another major US vendor. Manufacturers are focusing on different areas. Dedalus is strengthening its market position with Orbis and the web-based platform Orbis U. CGM is increasing investment in cloud-based software products and data-driven AI following CVC's entry. Nexus, Mesalvo, Meierhofer, and AMC are enhancing their offerings with modular, interoperable, or web-based solutions. Avelios gains visibility through its modular approach and strategic investment from SAP, though reports of implementation issues have surfaced. Other players include Oracle Health, which continues developing a new OCI-based platform and has promised existing i.s.h.med customers support until 2035. Telekom is focusing on infrastructure, data platforms, AI, and security.
