Tieto Caretech, x-tention, and Better have announced a strategic partnership to introduce the "Lifecare Open Health Suite," an open and modular platform for clinical data. The goal is to address critical challenges in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), such as outdated IT environments and fragmented data silos. The consortium leverages international standards like openEHR and FHIR to create a flexible ecosystem, allowing healthcare providers to modernize their IT infrastructure incrementally. Tieto Caretech contributes clinical applications (Lifecare), proven in the Nordics; x-tention provides service expertise and its MACH | Orchestra Integration Platform; and Better offers an openEHR-based data lake and low-code environment (Better Studio).
