Health Samurai introduces RCMbox, a self-hosted, billing backend designed specifically for engineering teams developing healthcare products. The platform is built to be FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) native, enabling rapid deployment of production-ready billing capabilities for applications like telehealth apps and EHR systems. A major challenge in healthcare product development is the complexity of billing—elements such as claims processing, ERAs, payer routing, and X12 are often separate, resource-intensive engineering projects.
