OnyxOS: Transforming Data Exchange into Operational Intelligence

OnyxOS processes healthcare data through a three-layer structure: Acquire, Make Usable, and Use Data. The foundational layer (Layer 01: Onyx DataBridge) ingests clinical, claims, and HIE data from various standards—including FHIR R4, HL7v2, and X12—to build a unified Longitudinal Health Record. This single source of truth is then made usable in the intermediate layer (Layer 02: Payer Data Infrastructure). Specialized layers include a Regulatory + Claims Data Fabric (CMS-0057), an Integrated Data Repository (supporting EHR integration), and a Quality Optimization layer (for HEDIS/Stars automation, risk adjustment, etc.). The final layer (Layer 03: Payer Intelligence Applications) utilizes this intelligence to drive specific operational actions, such as CMS Compliance, Digital Quality reporting, HCC-based Risk Adjustment, Care Gap identification, and Payment Integrity. The system is fundamentally FHIR-native, meaning standards compliance is built into the architecture rather than bolted on. Developed jointly with Microsoft on Azure, it provides enterprise-grade security and scalability. The platform is led by experts who have architected major industry standards like CMS Blue Button 2.0 and HL7 Da Vinci PDex.
