Docaposte (a subsidiary of Groupe La Poste), a long-established editor, has launched 'Docaposte Santé' to address the major challenge of transforming France’s healthcare system. Leveraging over 10 years of experience in the sector, the company combines expertise in hospital electronic publishing, health pathway orchestration, interoperability with national core services (such as shared medical records and national IDs), and digital solution integration. Docaposte Santé aims to overcome the limitations of traditional information systems built through siloed applications by adopting an open architecture and a data-centric approach, focusing on standards like FHIR and openEHR. This enables better cooperation among healthcare institutions, professionals, medico-social actors, and entire regions in utilizing data, thereby aiming for preventative care. The platform sets five goals: 1) Connecting actors to streamline care pathways and access; 2) Structuring and securing the circulation of health data; 3) Improving the efficiency of health organizations; 4) Freeing up time for medical professionals; and 5) Developing a predictive approach to maintain and improve the health and well-being of the population in a given territory. This initiative emphasizes establishing a data management system that prioritizes digital sovereignty and trust within France.
