This platform involves nine companies, including Farwell Telecom and Jinrong Technology, pooling expertise across communication, medical materials, AI, and software. Its key feature is establishing a standardized data structure capable of integrating diverse sources like physiological monitoring, ECG, medical imaging, ultrasound, operating rooms, and telemedicine. The collaboration details specific roles: multiple companies handle physiological values, while others contribute to static/dynamic medical images and AI analysis results. Notably, the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) is responsible for critical technical aspects such as data integration, standardization, and FHIR implementation, providing a foundation for cross-analysis of multi-modal data like ECG and blood pressure. The core objective is transforming disparate medical data—from different devices, settings, and formats—into standardized, 'exchangeable,' 'verifiable,' and 'reusable' data using the common FHIR framework. This allows collected clinical data to be directly used for AI model training and algorithm validation, supporting a shift in industry structure from hardware-centric to data-driven/software application. Furthermore, an anomaly event database is being built to systematically accumulate equipment alerts and clinical records, providing evidence for model optimization and testing during the development phase.
