This page introduces the technical foundation of the Open Health Stack (OHS). The second pillar, the 'Reference Toolkit,' offers a complete reference implementation for building AI-ready digital health solutions based on FHIR Foundations. This includes the OHS Player runtime for orchestration, mobile/web clients, and backends with custom endpoints. The third pillar, 'AI Commons,' provides a model-agnostic space for developing safe and verifiable AI, developed in collaboration with organizations like WHO. Collectively, these technologies offer a comprehensive and open framework for healthcare organizations to build highly functional next-generation systems.
